INTERVIEW + PRESENTATION + FIRESIDE CHAT: NAVIGATING YOUR BUSY LIFE TO REACH YOUR GOALS

Intro

Jackie is an athletic badass. She swims, bikes, and runs excessively long distances - for both work and pleasure - and typically smokes her competition whenever she does. While her profession is incredibly intense in nature, she maintains an incredibly balanced and refreshing perspective about the way that training fits into the rest of life. She's won lots of races, including Ironman Wisconsin, the Snowshoe Half Marathon Nationals, the Buffalo Springs 70.3, and too many shorter distances to count. Recent highlights include finishing as the top female in a number of races while pushing her little guy, hunter, in a stroller. Jackie lives in the country outside of Madison, WI with her husband, dog, and her son.

You + Impact: What does the word "impact" mean for you?

I see impact as the way I can positively influence someone to become a better version of themselves.  My impact is through inspiration and motivation in fitness.  As a professional athlete I lead by example of hard work and daily consistency as a means to reach your goal.  As a coach I encourage and support athletes toward their goals and provide them a plan to get there.  As a new mom who has worked hard to get back into shape after baby I serve as inspiration to other moms out there looking to get back into it!

You + Aliveness: What makes you feel most alive?

Crossing a finish line knowing I gave everything I had.
